What is a Capsularium?Capsulariums™ are unique, one-of-a-kind miniature art showcases made from the bones of mice and other small rodents. Most bones are collected from owl pellets (fur, bones, and other indigestible bits than an owl expectorates as a matter of natural feeding) and have been cleaned and sterilized before use. Capsulariums™ are created inside recycled watches, clocks and frames. Any wear on finishes or glass are to be expected and add to the antique charm of the piece. Some pieces may contain gold, silver, Swarovski crystals and diamond chips. |
